Grounds for suspension or expulsion; who may suspend or expel.

There are many different reasons a school may prevent a student from receiving an education. The student may be dangerous in his conduct to the school to himself or the school. The student can be expelled for disobedience or for not following school policy. The student can be expelled for interference, disorder, and disruption with the operation of any public school. This helps the people of the Kansas schools to stay safe and to ensure that their children receive an education in a safe environment. The student may be dangerous. A student may endanger the safety of others or intrude upon the rights of other students at school, on school property or at a school supervised activity. Intentionally causing, attempting to cause, or threatening physical injury to another person. This protects the students of the school and is helpful for rooting out bullying and fist fights at school. …show more content…

This includes multiple classroom removals, destroying of school properties, and disrupting the school program by intentionally causing a false fire alarm or bomb threat. This ensures the school to run smoothly and is helpful to make sure the students receive an education, without distractions. The student may be expelled for disrespect. This includes directing profanity and vulgar language, toward other students, school personnel, or visitors to the school. Continued willful disobedience of proper authority including a deliberate refusal to obey staff members and repeated violations of school policy and regulations.
