Some kids in our country have to. Some of the reasons we should have summer is it will relieve the stress off kids, and teachers, it is relaxing just to kick back and chill and not leave your house for weeks just playing games. If you don’t have summer, you can’t have extracurricular activities like church camps or go camping.

And then all of a sudden, the child starts stumbling over his or her own feet, because the student did not get the proper amount of vitamin-D. There are 24 hours in a day, 8 of those hours belong to school. From the moment when a student wakes up, they begin to prepare for school then go to school, most schools start around 8:00-9:00 am, so most students get up 1-2 hours earlier to get ready. Some people believe it helps improve grades and scores. Others think kids should not have homework because it doesn’t help them and use standardized tests to support them.
Homework, what is it good for? Why should elementary students have to do homework? When children come home from school with homework their parents make them sit down to do that work after they have spent 7 hours in school learning with minimal breaks. Children are mentally exhausted but ancy do to a lack of exercise. Conflict between children and their parents usually results because the former want down time and the latter fear their child won’t have a good life without good grades.

It becomes very difficult for students who participate in sports directly after school or those who ride the bus to find time to meet with a teach to get help. If they were to stay after school the students who ride a bus would risk missing their bus which lead to a difficult situation for their parents. Many parents are working eight to five jobs or multiple jobs and can’t take an hour to pick their student up and drive them home. If a student missed the bus because they stayed after school their parent could end up losing their job because they had to leave work. A longer lunch break would allow students to go to teachers classrooms and get help during lunch so they don’t miss the bus after school.
Have you ever taken into consideration, how much screen time is too much? Well the American Academy of Pediatrics or the AAP has done studies and had shown that there should be a limit on screen time and the limit should be two hours on electronics a day at max. After reading and examining their sources on screen time you can very easily identify that children are starting to use electronics a lot more than they should for non-educational purposes. This can lead to many bad things in the child's future so the American Academy of Pediatrics decided to step in and suggest that all kids and teens should have a two hour screen limit. This can be very beneficial for children and teens in a variety of ways but, just to show that the AAP's suggestion of having a two hour screen limit is beneficial is that one, children are beginning to lack in the ability to be able to read emotions on people's faces.
