“Cause you and I we were born to die”( Lana Del Rey). The stage suddenly went dark as night with the sounds of crazy fans chatting “Lana, Lana, Lana” and the faint sound of her guitarist playing. The room soon enlighten with a glow as Lana Del Rey approached the stage. Soon after I realized that finally the day had came and I was attending my first concert. I had really made it to the Comerica Theater as I listened to Lana Del Rey sing and hit the high notes “Is this real, am I actually here in front of Lana right now?” I had been feeling weird all day knowing I had worked so hard to pay for pit tickets to simply listen to Lana with a whole bunch of fans that were strangers to me. The day started off pretty normal, besides the fact it was Tuesday, April 15 the day of the concert. The excitement within me felt as if I was a bottle of coke shaken waiting to explode. I started to hear faint cheers of the fans knowing the end was coming. Fans yelling “Don’t leave, We love you Lana”. I couldn't believe it my favorite song was the closing one; it was like if she knew and was singing it just for me. As the song continued the base of the guitar got louder the fans and I went on being the craziest yelling and screaming “Tell me I'm your National Anthem” till we could hardly breath. From “Cola” to “National Anthem” the concert came to an end. It was an amazing experience that could never be explained through writing but only by experience. As I was looked around the pit looking at all the faces of the fans like little kids watching fireworks at DisneyLand. I realized that listing to music with a bunch of strangers that share one thing in common is one of the most exciting and inspiring things there is to
