The leadership model that is most congruent with the Ohio State University Housing Services office is the transformational model. The director of administration is seen as “an agent who raises followers to a higher moral purpose (Models of Leadership, 1). In addition, she encourages “interdependent members of groups [to] share and coordinate activities to accomplish goals together” (Models of Leadership, 2). By analyzing literature and history, a person can still be a good and effective leader without virtue because they are consistent, credible, and have a vision of their goals.
Individuals like Kathryn have spent many years learning and teaching others to become better, doing everything she can to train her players to win and be in their best shape. Character is perhaps the most important aspect of being an honorable leader. One of the attributes that I value most is kindness. No matter how simple it may seem, it is certainly important. I make an effort to be a good friend to everyone I encounter and make them feel respected. Making others know their worth and feel respected is a great way to earn their respect back.

Within this time frame, RHA Executive board had the privilege of working with and getting to know Laura.
