Water has Been Discovered on Mars In 1969 man landed on the moon. In 1972 the land rover landed on the red planet. Now in 2015 the announcement of liquid water on Mars has been discovered. We’ve looked through massive telescopes, put them is space, all to answer the question; are we alone?

Liquid water on present day Mars has been revealed to the public by NASA. An undergraduate guitarist at the University of Arizona discovered streaks of water on Mars in 2011. Not a scientist, just an average undergraduate overachiever. Later in 2015 NASA held a press conference on the subject. Nasa released news about liquid water on Mars, and possible life. Although NASA only released this information, many conspiracy theorists say the know much more. …show more content…

Lujendra Ojha is a student at the University of Arizona. Ojha, a guitar player, wants to get his degree in physics, loves wormholes, the string theory, and time travel. The undergraduate discovered streaks on mars surface in 2011. These streaks gave a lead to NASA about flowing water on Mars. Even non-scientists, average people can make incredible scientific discoveries.

NASA held a press conference to release the news of water on Mars in 2015. Jon Grunsfeld, Jim Green, and Michael Meyer all were holding the Nasa press conference. Each person is an employee at NASA, working on the Mars project. During the press conference these men released news about water on today’s Mars. They said that dark streaks that had been from flowing water were discovered. The information released during this press conference was very important.

After the release of this news, many conspiracy theories arose. Many political and normal people questioned the reason behind releasing the information. Many people have said they made up an excuse that Mars had gone barren because of climate change. Earlier that day the UN had made a push to slow down climate change on Earth. Another group of people questioned if there was a relation to the movie The Martian. The 20th Century Fox release The Martian was supported by NASA, and launched the same week the information was released. There are a lot of conspiracy theories
