I want to attend a very established Medical school that aligns with my core beliefs in life, provide support for me while I am enrolled and train me to become a very efficient physician. I am very passionate about improving the quality of health and service to the community. Catering to individuals most in need is also embedded in Wayne State University School Of Medicine's mission and curriculum. My goal is to work with underserved populations, and having this community connection during my undergraduate medication will be essential for my future.

The clinically focused curriculum is ideal for my visual and kinesthetic learning style. The curriculum's conjunction with the Cass clinic will allow me to apply what I learn from my lectures to the patients at the clinic, as well as, understand the clinical presentation behind various health disparities. I believe WSUSOM will offer me my ideal learning space because of the great support system offered to their students throughout their enrollment. The academic success programs offered which keep students academically on track, shows a true commitment to the success of their students. Sufficient access to study rooms is beneficial for me because I will be able to study at my convenience. Having these options, I am guaranteed to succeed my classes and retain the pertinent information being studied. As a WSUSOM matriculate I understand that I will be able to participate in mentoring and/or counseling programs to offer me guidance while enrolled. When I am closer to applying for residency I can take advantage of the career planning program to facilitate my transition. These programs will not only mold me into an effective physician but also allow me to become a mentor to other medical students and pre-medical
