At this moment I feel like I do not have a straight forward path that I will take once I have graduated. The option I most likely will peruse is working after graduation. The field I feel most comfortable with at this moment is dealing with sustainability of air systems. I plan to get a job with United Technologies located in Athens. Here I will work for two or three years before I depart to get my MBA. By obtaining my MBA, I will have an essential tool to allow me to progress up to administrative positions. I believe MBAs will soon become a required degree to advance in the field of engineering. I will focus on the business side of engineering more than the actual calculations and designing. From the numerous projects that I have completed over the years as an undergraduate I have come to realize that, I am not as gifted as others in the engineering field who can create and design far beyond what I am capable of. I however, find that I am better at managing, finding what people are best at, and getting them to get the work done to reach all our requirements. I can take off time at work and go back to school for two years, take an accelerated one-year course, or get certified through online courses. The solution to this decision will come after I have worked two years in the professional world. I plan to take some online courses next semester, and this will allow me to get a feel for if I learn better through online classes or in person classes. One of the best learning experiences I am looking forward to is finding a mentor. The aspects needed in my mentor is being one who will be able to make sure I am never limiting myself. I hope that this person will be able to see the skills I currently possess and help push me to enhance and master what I excel
