According to TheMiddleAges.net, under Medieval law, animals could be tried for crimes. The Middle Ages was the time after Rome fell, all the way up into more modern times, castle life, food, and religion are all things back then that still happen today in lots of different places around the world.
To begin with, the clothes in the Middle Ages were very different than what is considered normal in these times. Back in the early Middle Ages, clothes were still inspired by the Roman Style of clothing. A king might wear a camel hair coat or a cotton cap. The early Middle Ages, (900-100) as said earlier, the clothing was still inspired by the Romans. Later in the Middle Ages, a person’s headdress might be determined by their social status, being king, the king would have a certain type of headdress worn. There were many types of people living in a Medieval castle. For example, some of the most important people living in a castle are the lord, the lady, and the bishop. Also, there are other people in a castle such as the castilian, who was in charge of the castle, or a squire, who is in the castle training to be a knight. The usual religion that people were back in the Middle Ages were Catholic/Christian. These religions were ever growing in the Middle Ages becoming more and more popular. Even though there was poor understanding of illnesses and medicines back in the Medieval Times, the king got some of the best treatment back then because of his power and social status. The health of lots of people in the Middle Ages was threatened by sickness such as the plague so it definitely came in handy to be someone of power to get the best treatment that they had. In conclusion, they had horrible sanitation and waste often piled up and was only removed
