Motors and More incorporated is a manufacturing company that provides business-to business motors and accessories for home products and industrial use throughout the area. The products that we provide are high in demand in the local area. Motor and More want to expand its business growth through developing newer innovation and expanding the company’s workforce. Motor and More Inc. focuses on a prospector business strategy which is an offensive strategy that focuses on establishing business in new markets. In order to be effective the company must increase the workforce, develop newer products and be able to respond to the constant changes within the market in order to be effective. Additionally, the organization must change the business structure in order to meet the increasing competition within the market. As we expand our business strategy into newer markets there are potential risk that may impact the effectiveness of our mission. First, the marketing and sells department is entering markets that we as an organization may not be prepared to handle. Second, with the increase of job-turnover and the steady low-rate of unemployment in our area (3.1), it will be difficult for the company to meet the required level of productions due to entering the new markets. In order to maintain our current customers and work to increase our customer database we must invest in the people that are employed within our organization, while working to increase the diversity within our organization. Our current labor market is 48% diverse however the majority of the workforce employed at Motor More Inc. is predominantly white. I believe that by increasing the diversity within the workforce we will be able to develop quality products and also be able to maintain a prospector
