My career and education goals is to attend Texas Tech University and to major in Petroleum Engineering. I believe that I have made the right decision in my major and whole heartedly believe that Texas Tech is the school for me.
The main goal in my life was to be happy, and to be happy no matter what situation I’m in. To be given the opportunity to work for my goal and my dream in life is enough reason for me to be happy. I will always be thankful for that opportunity, and I know I have been blessed with an amazing family, and great friends, and I am super thankful that, and with that I have been given the opportunity to go to college, and pursue a career to help me create a life for myself. And it has taken me so long to decide because I’m scared that I won’t end up liking my what I’m doing in the future, and I believe that your occupation defines who you are as a person. My uncle has always had a great influence on me and has pushed me to start thinking about my career options, and one particular career that he has persuaded was to be a petroleum engineer, because that is what he does as well. He has worked for the Halliburton company for a very long time, and I have had the privilege to hear some stories and take some trips with him and actually experience what its like to be a petroleum engineer. It has always intrigued me how everything works. I also have been pretty interested in every type of math and chemistry, and I believe that I have done pretty well in both subjects. Petroleum Engineering is just one of the careers that I have always thought about, and I believe that it fits me the best. And if I don't end up doing Petroleum Engineering, one thing I do know is that I want to go into something with Engineering, because I feel like there are a lot more jobs that pertain and
