My Core Beliefs

I believe that a person's core values and beliefs are what help them successfully achieve their goals and go far in life. Those qualities support their academic success and service to others as well. Some of my core values and beliefs are trust, honesty, hard-work, integrity, and Catholicism, in which I take pride in and they have helped shape me into the person who I am today. First and foremost, I will talk about Catholicism and my belief in God. Before I could even walk, my family and I went to church every Sunday, and continue to do so today. I have grown up knowing that God will always be there for me. Whenever I need help, advice, or just simply want to thank Him, I talk to and send Him prayers. God, Catholicism, and all that comes with them have really developed me into the conscientious person who I am today. Those are undoubtedly two of the most important qualities that a person can have to me. Without trust in any relationship, what do you have? I want to be able to trust my friends, family members, and acquaintances with even the smallest things. I would like to hope that everyone in my life will always be there for me, just as I will always be there for them. Also, I strongly value honesty as being "the best policy". No matter how much someone in my life may not want to hear something, I still believe in telling them because I care about them. I would also hope that someone in my life would care about me enough to do the same thing. As you can see, I value trust and honesty in my life very much and believe that they are life-long qualities in maintaining relationships.
