This is because families play a crucial role in the care process, and their involvement can significantly impact patients' health outcomes. To achieve this, it is essential to maintain open communication with families and involve them in care decisions whenever possible. Additionally, treating families with empathy, kindness, and respect can help address the challenges and emotions they may be experiencing. I am a firm believer in this topic anyway because while being at the hospital, you have family members who stay by their loved ones to make sure that they are receiving the proper care.
