As I reflect on my education at Regis University, I truly understand what I have gained and what I have to offer. Regis University affords an opportunity to grow as a professional, as well as, a well-rounded person that will make ethical choices and decisions. The six key Jesuit values serve as a compass that is meant to guide us in both our professional and personal life. I look back at my education, and I look forward to how I will apply the Jesuit standards to the accounting profession as I consider the individuals I will serve. The students of today become the leaders of tomorrow. Leaders that will shape business and the way it is conducted. In addition, as a leader of tomorrow, there will be times when people will seek guidance both in the technical and ethical aspects of the accounting profession. It is important to realize a caring person considers more than the company’s bottom line. As a person seeking improvement, I care about myself and performing my job with technical and ethical professionalism.
