My SMART management goal
1. Career goal: I aspire to be a digital marketer. I enjoy marketing and communications and want to combine my skills in these areas with my passion for agriculture. My career goal is to be a digital marketer for an agricultural company.
2. Management-skill objective: To be an excellent manager, I believe that directing is an essential skill to have. Managers must be responsible for staff and moral as well as results.
3. Specific: As an executive board member in my sorority, I will practice strengthening my directing skills this semester by creating the desire for success amongst committee chairs who are planning events
4. Measurable: I will measure my growth toward the goal by asking for evaluations on how much desire for success the chairs felt. I will look for at least 90% of the evaluations to show that I have met this goal, in order to personally see the goal as met.

Attainable: I will encourage those planning events by offering rewards to the person who plans the event with the most success (determined by most attendance), twice a month. I have the discipline, patience, commitment, and funds in our budget to give this incentive to reach the goal. I will make time by scheduling recognition and gifts in meetings I have set with the chairs.
6. Relevant: In my future career, I will have to communicate with coworkers and subordinates to ensure that there is a desire for success, jobs are done properly, and those staffed for positions will be properly trained and excited to complete their duties. This semester, strengthening my directing skills will prepare me to do the same as a digital marketing
