In the Mythology book written by Edith Hamilton describes many stories about Mythology. One of the Stories called “The Adventures of Odysseus” later describes that Odysseus Comes back home but a goddess named Athena turns him into a older looking man because it would be dangerous for him to back home looking like he actually looks. His wife Penelope and his son Telemachus have been waiting for him to get back from the Trojan war for ten years. When the war was over he left back over sea to go back home. He gets in a lot of predicaments and end up not coming home for another ten years after the war ended. Suitors have been trying to marry Penelope for the glory of what Odysseus has. While odysseus has been gone for the ten years after war, he went looking for his father. …show more content…

Odysseus still looking like a old man notices Telemachus coming in with Eumaeus. Telemachus is not happy, sitting at a eating table, because he has not found his father yet. Once everyone left besides only Telemachus and his father Athena turned Odysseus back to his actual self.
