Do you remember when you got your own phone? Oh what an exciting time it was, but do you know who made that phone other than the actual company? The first that came to mind was probably no a minor. Throughout the United States people have been debating whether or not to buy products that have been manufactured with the use of child labor. United States consumers should continue to buy products that have been manufactured with the use of child labor because it provides money for families that are poverty ridden countries, is the child really being deprived of a childhood/education, and consumers pressure corporations to fire minors without thinking about the repercussions that this action may cause. Of course, it's better to stay away from problems if it's going to taint your reputation and make you seem like a bad person who doesn't care about repercussions to those around them. Big corporations have to worry about negative comments toward them. In the end, this corporation ends up choosing their necks above the people that are under them. “ By severing its contract with Saga, Nike is likely to score moral points with its customers in the West. These workers aren't people they're the amount of money earned and statistics. “Saga estimate that as many as 20,000 families could be affected by 70 percent of the local market relies on them for work.” This also concludes that our quick arrogance is costing the survival of families and individuals. As consumers, we only receive and do whatever we want with the product yet when we hear that a minor has made these products it becomes taboo to purchase these products when we could have done something more productive with the money that was spent. Individuals only think about being consumers because that what we're trying to fight for not the rights for these people who need these
