Robert Kenner’s “ The Food Inc.” argues that american’s do not know where their food comes from because the food industry keeps them in the dark. Our industrial base is made from corn. People are eating food that is causing them to be sick. The beef that people are eating is being washed with ammonia to kill the bacteria on the beef. American’s are getting obese. Because of the dollar menu’s that fast food restaurants are advertising. They are getting people’s attention and making more money. The food industry does not want people to know about the processing plants they are being used. Fast food restaurants have processed foods. They use frozen foods such as fries, burgers and nuggets. Eating so much processed food can cause people to be sick. Also, Processed foods can be addictive. For example, in the movie “ The Itis” Janet she ate too much of the food she got addictive. She had to get a lipo section. Because she gained so much weight. Processed foods can also be unhealthy for people. Because processed foods tend to have a lot of chemicals that they don’t include on the ingredients they leave things out, because they don’t want people knowing what they are eating. That’s what causes american’s to be obese, because they eat so much food and they don’t know what type of ingredients are in their food and it gets so addictive. It has artifical flavors such as corn syrup. Corn syrup can be addictive but it is not good for people at all. People eat so much fast food that has so many bad chemicals and other ingredients that can be bad for their body and they end up getting sick.
