The main purpose of this research paper is to study a number of the various variables that are thought to result to increase in obesity in America. The research question regarding the relationship between lack of physical activities and increase in obesity will be evaluated. When a person not exercising enough, the extra fat that is not used is stored by our bodies. Over a period of time, the small imbalances may eventually result in one becoming obese or overweight. Combined with other non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, heart diseases, and cancer, obesity is resulting to be one of the major killers in global deaths. Over 30 million deaths are related to obesity and NCDs every year which translate to around 60% globally. This means that the change in level is not because of change in genetics but a combination of gene-environment interaction. Models that have been developed suggest that many people have passed genetic capability to accumulate fat which now is being express in current times.
