Introduction This task is split into 3 sections. In this section I will describe & explain what specific attributes, general attributes are and what is meant by attitudes. Briefly I have described and explained how an employer values these skills & qualities in a potential candidate. Most employers look for precise skillsets and qualities when searching for candidates to fill a job vacancy. An employer wants an employee who will know exactly what they are doing when they start working with the company. Before hiring, the employer knows exactly what he/she is looking for. Specific attributes are the qualities of a person which is essential for the job that they are applying for which are not relevant for working in elsewhere. Specific attributes are required because they show the employer that the employee is actually able to do their work with little or no training or supervision. General attributes are qualities that an employer expect from an employee regardless of the job roll. They are qualities which we all know and practice on a day to day basis and we adapt our general attributes depending on where we are going and who we are around.
