In this report, I compared and contrasted two articles with the interviews of two parents and two teachers. The articles used in my research were Cultural Divide over Parental Divide by Yilu Zhao and When Cultures Clash in the Classroom by Veeko Lucas. In the article by Zhao, he talks about how corporal punishment is common within the traditional Chinese culture, however using those displays of disciplinary action in the American culture are opposed.
