I always remember growing up baking holiday cutout cookies with my grandma and then watching cooking shows. Shortly after I began asking for baking items and tools for birthday and christmas presents. Once I realized I was extremely fascinated with baking and creating such unique foods, was when I realized I wanted to become a pastry chef. I would greatly love to expand my skills and techniques.
My plans after receiving my degree is not quiet certain. I for sure want to head straight towards a job in my field, but long term is still being determined. To some extent I want to own my own business, but first I would much rather like to have experience in the field and possible take a few business classes to understand the ropes of owning a business, therefore I can be successful in what I do.
Throughout my middle school years I had excellent grades, I received honor roll each year and had mostly “A’s.” When I arrived at high school, my grades tended to not be that well. I began to have a few more “B’s” and during junior year my lowest of two “C’s.” Afterall I did receive three academic awards for having a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have become a member of National Honors Society (NHS.).
