Moving to Kansas was a big change in my life. At the end of the school year of 2011, four weeks before the last day of school we went on the eight hour road trip to Newton, Kansas. It was exciting. Getting a new place to live, a new home. Change is good, well mostly good. In Colorado we had a nice old house with a big backyard, and a huge hill to go sledding on in the winter. Life was good. Our school was a Charter school which I didn’t like because we had to wear uniforms. Our school was just down the hill and it took less than five minutes to get there because of traffic, there was a intersection right at the bottom of the hill. When I was seven or eight I believe I received my first Nintendo DS for Christmas. I loved that thing the only game I had was Mario though. That’s why I have the feels for the Mario franchise. But my addiction became even worse when I got my first Pokemon game, HeartGold. I had never seen a game where it was basically a free roam world where you can do anything you want. You can follow the storyline but you don’t have to right away. This was the thing that gripped me when I first started playing Pokemon HeartGold. I could do whatever I wanted catch which ones I wanted to, and defeat any others that got in my way of fun. When we got into the new house all I did was go over to my cousin’s house because I thought he was cool. We would play some video games maybe play Pokemon, it was a good time. Then in December I got my own Xbox, that’s right my own Xbox 360. Which also came along with Black Ops and Minecraft! These games were the games that I have been longing for, as soon as I got them I got the Xbox set up putting the assortment of different wires into the corresponding areas. When I played online I would have to use my Kinect to speak. Wearing earbuds would help the echo that my Kinect would pick
