I anticipated senior year to pass by smoothly. Unfortunately during wrestling practice, I positioned my footing wrong and broke the fibula of my ankle. After a surgical operation on my ankle, I was brought home. I laid there on my bed, bored of watching Supernatural; therefore, I decided to pick up the laptop and surf the web. The reason that I was brought to a site about writing was unclear, but I was interested in honing my writing techniques. In order to grab attention, my voice in my writings has to be decent. So I began immediately to focus the time in my bed in developing my writing skills. I thought this motive will last only for one day. As I was thinking about writing, an idea hit me that I need to review some basic concepts of writing along with learning new words. I jogged down a schedule, and it reminded me to learn at least 5 new words everyday. With each word, I was eager to use them in writing. Eventually, I learned more than 200 words. After the vocabulary words, the next thing on my schedule was to revise my grammar. The book: The Elements of Style by Strunk and William, diverted me to a whole new way of writing. I learned the little mistakes that could easily mess up my writing and paying close attention to each sentence mattered. From the ten programs, I picked Iwriter. It received a lot of positive feedbacks, and it felt right for me. On my first job given, I wrote an article for a client, but they rejected it. This feeling of failure was familiar, and I did not delay myself to be better. I wrote for another client. They accepted it. I was thrilled and happy. After 3 weeks of healing as well as working diligently, I wrote about 12 articles for $20
