I was in a chess tournament about two years ago against many people in my school because I joined a chess club. Unfortunately, I didn 't get far in my last one and was hoping to be better this time. I was doing well until I saw a seventh grader paired with me in the semifinals. I was very nervous because last time I went against a seventh grader I lost and was knocked out from the tournament. But this time I was a lot better at chess than before so I had not a lot of doubts even though a lot of people thought that the grade seven was going to win.
There it was, standing in the distance, a tall gloomy gray-colored building. With a few splashes of blue paint added to the dull cement to add color to what would otherwise be a lifeless building. This building was non-other than the one and only Stoller Middle School. I never referred to it as a middle school but more as a prison, it was full of rules that were put in place just to suck away any possible fun from a child’s mind. Maybe I didn’t like the place because I was suspended five times from it.
Lots of people say that middle school is hard, has lots of responsibilities and you have to be on time for everything. Then I thought there weren 't serious till I actually went to middle school myself. Soon after elementary I went to a middle school that I went to was called Lincoln middle school, it wasn’t a big school, but it was a decent school. When I first went into that building I was excited to make new friends and meet my teacher, but then this lady that was the 6th grade dean(consular) gave me this piece of paper that had many classes on it and I ask her “why there are so many classes?”
As a young aspiring musician in middle school, I wanted to start a band desperately. Instead, I was known as Emerson Middle School 's’ music freak. I posted flyers in businesses around my hometown and online ads. I wanted to be like Amy Lee from Evanescence terribly, but my taste in music was different than most people. When my fellow classmates heard about my compositions and ideas, they thought it was a joke.
Should 6th Grade Be Placed In Elementary or Middle School? By: Wiktoria Kaciak #16 Ding! The bell goes off. You, as the youngest student on campus, stand there in the middle of the hallway, watching as all of the older students rush to class.
Third Grade It was a cool and very cold morning at my school. It was around 10 a.m and we went outside to have Recess. We were playing two hand touch football.
The first reason I have changed since 6th grade is now I have more responsibilities. Firstly, I think it teaches me responsibility because I have to remember my locker combo. I have to remember this because if I forgot it I wouldn’t be able to get the stuff I need for that class and if that happened I would be in big trouble. Also it teaches responsibility because I have to get to class on time.

Throughout middle school, many things changed. Between 7th and 8th grade, our school changed from the confusing rotating block schedule to the easy,
There's a lot of drama in middle school and it can be tiring. There's always something going on around this school and nothing stays between you and someone else. My group in biotech class were talking about one of my friends. I didn't say anything against her, but the girl that said everything told her I said everything.
People all the time say that there bus is to crowded. There are too many people on one bus. Our school district should add more busses so that we don’t have to be cramped in the seats. Some people have to even sit three to a seat or possibly four. Another thing about busses is that some of the seventh and eighth graders sit in the front while some of the sixth graders sit all the way in the back.
The bells ring, and the hallways are flooded like the Mississippi River. This school year has a great deal of changes compared to to last year. Last year I was a fifth grader, now I am a sixth grader. There are more changes than I expected coming from fifth grade to sixth grade. The changes I have experienced has made sixth grade more enjoyable than fifth grade.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
According to Zooey Deschanel, nothing can be as hard as middle school. I was a big scaredy cat when I started middle school in 5th grade. My guts were flipping and flopping on that first day. Even though I didn’t know any teachers or friends, I made new friends and met new teachers. I had Mrs. Wherley as a homeroom teacher, she was nice as pie to me.
