Hi Yasna, It 's Samantha, the associate you interviewed Friday for sales lead. Sorry for the extremely late email, this is the first chance I 've gotten to write you. Today I went by Children 's Place at Eastridge, and spoke with Diana. You had asked me to see what I noticed that was different from Eastridge and Valley Fair, and the first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how much smaller the store is compared to Valley Fair. I also noticed how there is less traffic coming through at Eastridge then there is at Valley fair.
It was the last inning in our all-star game, and we were losing 10 to 8. Our team had 2 outs and we couldn’t get the third. Our pitcher was doing bad, throwing all balls, while all of us in the field were tired, ready to fall asleep at any moment. There goes another walk. They score again.
Hello again, I am so sorry I’ve emailed you so many times but I would really really like to meet one on one with Gerardo. My initial meeting that was scheduled for February 14th, I had to cancel due to being very sick and not wanting to spread it to him or his family. Are there any open slots? God bless, Rachal Adent
It was the first time a performing in parade, going to Louisiana, and visiting Southern University. I thought I was going to have so much fun and being away from my parents for a whole weekend was also a plus. Due to the sleeping arrangements at the hotel there were two band members per room. Cameron and I were chosen to room together, and I was not thrilled about it at all. I remember thinking, “Really, him out of all people; out all people, I get the weird boy.”
In today’s society, people think that if the problem isn’t about them, it doesn’t affect them. This was a recurring problem during the civil rights movement for African American freedom. In Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” and “I Have a Dream” speech, he describes African American protests for freedom and equality. In these documents, he uses persuasive language that appeals to logic and emotion to attempt to change the discrimination in his society.
I wanted to be them. I loved hearing the crowd as they would lose their composure at the announcement of the Homecoming Queen. It invigorated my emotions, and filled my heart with confidence and acceptance. I was amazing. Upon entering high school, I strived to make new friends and acquire everyone’s approval, even that of my teacher’s.
That event was being in the kazoo band. The kazoo band is a tradition at Lincoln Elementary School. It’s in the Raisin Day Parade and everyone has a choice of being a dancer, a flag person, or play the buckets as drums. My teacher, Mr.Olson, said we can try more than one and see which one we liked better. I tried dance and flag, but I decided to do flag because I was already in dance and wanted to try something new.
When I started high school, the club that excited me the most, was National Honors Society. So, at the first chance I got, in my sophomore year. After being a member for a year, I quickly realized that I wanted to take on a leadership opportunity in the club. So, I took a shot for the stars, and campaigned for being president of Honors Society. Though I had some competition, I put my all into composing a speech, and I won the presidency, and I have been president since.
I was dressed in concert attire, nervous, and an hour early. I sat in the auditorium room with all the other people trying out. I eagerly waited and watched all of my competitors be pulled into audition halls that held many audition rooms. I was so scared, but I was ready to get it over
My mom was working in one the booths, helping the cheerleaders do a fundraiser, because my sister was the cheer assistant . They would serve hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and drinks, trying to keeping up with the crowd of people. My mom told us to go, have fun and not to bother her. My dad was staying by my grandparents, enjoying watching the rush of people having fun with their families and friends. We went throughout the day having fun in the hot sun, regularly applying sunscreen to protect our fragile
Since the ripe age of twelve years old, I have been attending one of the best kept secrets of the Shenandoah Valley; Camp Strawderman. The ideals Strawderman implements are to make girls so happy they will share their happiness with others, to create friendships that shall last through life, and to bring out the hidden possibilities that lie within each girl. Helping girls to find themselves is a big aspect of both my time as a camper and as a counselor in training, called “T.A.”. I grew a deep love for helping other girls who had stumbled upon Strawderman to gain as much as they could out of their stay. As an older girl, all you can hope for is that you have made someone else’s stay just as wonderful as yours your first year at camp.
Miss Tree City is a local pageant for my community’s fall festival. I decided to write about this because it has showed me different views of the community I live in. Competing in a pageant was not something that was on my summer to-do list before my junior year of high school, at that time I was concentrating on making the varsity volleyball team at my school and getting the grades to get me into the best college for me. This
The Mass Media is an agent that enables us to be connected to the rest of the world even if we do not want to be, we are. It is different from other agents, such as one 's family and school, because those are agents one is closely associated with, physically. Where as, Mass Media, is a connection with the rest of the world and current events happening near and far. It 's main aspects are to inform and entertain. A great example is the daily news, whether it be on the television, in the paper, or on a smartphone.
It was a warm spring morning in May when my mother and father headed to the hospital to give birth to a little girl. On May 18th, 1998 at 7:34 a.m. I, Allison Michelle Keitel, was born. A lot has changed in these past 18 years, but growing up in a time period between “the good old day” and technology was one of the best generations to live during. Getting to roll around in mud with my siblings and playing outside everyday was one of my favorite memories, however, my generation is also the first generation to grow up with technology.
It was quite Monday in spring, a normal day but for me and my team it was a big day. It was the day we started training for the important race; the race decide which track team was the best in the city. My teammates are, George, Aron and Dylan. We have been working hard because we lost the championship last year it would be good for us to come out this year and win the championship.
