My Personal Mission Statement.

It is my mission to live a life of positivity, integrity, compassion, perseverance and gratitude. To remain committed to my Jewish values and way of life. And to make the world a more meaningful place through developing significant relationships with those around me.

My Personal Philosophy

I am a strong willed teenager who knows what I want and what I stand for. I am very principled in what I believe in and I am prepared to firmly back up and justify my convictions. In order to live a life of integrity, I have had to constantly remain positive through the challenges of my youth. Peer pressure as well as a range of new and demanding experiences have constantly tested my beliefs and values. On more than one occasion, I have had to stand up for my values – often alone, and yet have managed to remain committed and faithful to what I believe in. This quality is essential to me in living a life of integrity in my future.

My core values are : courage, compassion, confidence , creativity, decisiveness, determination, discipline , efficiency , neatness, family, friendships, forgiveness, fun, generosity, happiness, kindness, love, optimism , religion and trust.

I cherish the values and teachings of Judaism as well as the customs and heritage that comes with being Jewish. Shabbat for me is a sacred family time, during which I have the weekly opportunity to engage with my parents, siblings and grandparents, to develop a close and meaningful relationship with them, which I otherwise would never have the opportunity to do. Shabbat for me is literally a time to “switch off” from the constant connectivity which my life demands and to instead focus on what really matters.
