As a third year high school student and a second year college student, I have had to face difficulties concerning my academic career, I have had to evaluate my goals and my achievements, and I have even had to learn how I learn. Going to Early College High School has changed me, I have become more motivated to be a good student and a successful individual overall. One thing that I have always stayed true to are my high-standards for myself personally and academically. I never settle, I always do my best, and when my best isn’t enough I do better. I have always been extremely motivated as a student to perform as best as I can, even at my low points in life. I have seen the low points of my life at a tender young age, and that has made me never want to go back. I hit rock bottom, and I will never be that low again. …show more content…

Every day I strive to be a better person than I was the day before. This semester in particular I have been changing in ways that have brought benefits to me now, and that will benefit me in the future. I chose to take six classes this semester, which is probably the most a student can manage to take, and I have A’s in all of my classes. Having so many classes has taught me how to manage my time for school, work, and personal reasons. ACA 122 has guided me in doing so by the sections in the book about managing time. Through many of the activities throughout this course, I have learned how to assess myself and where and how to go from there. If I realize that I am doing poorly, or not to my expectations, then I will look at what I can do to better myself and where I am at that point. If I am doing well, I will analyze what I have been doing to get me to that point, and I will continue to do that and see if I have any room for improvement. I know that I can still improve on my procrastination, but it has definitely improved this semester with me learning how to manage my time
