Ever since middle school, I have dreamed of being an electrical engineer. The last four years, I have been able to take engineering classes at school. I have also been able to work at the local radio station. I chose pursue electrical engineering because of the work is very exciting and my experiences in high school. I desire to learn how to be successful in college and obtain needed skills for success; in my career I hope to obtain a leadership role and effect the company in a positive manner.

The best way to do this is to obtain an electrical engineer degree from Texas Tech University. This will require me to further my critical thinking skills and sharpen my communication skills. By the time I graduate, I want to be over prepared for success. I want companies to fight for me to work for them. In my career, I would like to impact the company that I work for. I would like to make the processes more efficient. I want to be the go to guy in the organization. If they have a big problem that needs to be solved, I want them to come to me. If the company has an important customer, I want them to come to me to work with them. I would like to obtain a leadership role in the company work for. I would really like to have a huge influence in my company and serve as an example of a model employee. I want to serve as a picture of honesty, professionalism, and hard work. Electrical Engineering is a field that will never be boring as it requires one to be diverse their knowledge. It also requires a employee that is able to work in various environments; it is an exciting job that allows you to work on the cutting edge of technology. After leaving Texas Tech University, I hope that I am over prepared for success regardless of the role I serve in a company. When I obtain a job, I hope that I can impact the company I work for in a meaningful way. This may be in a leadership role, simply sitting an example, improving
