In the beginning of my journey in college, I had an accurate idea of the career that I wanted to pursue. I wished to be a doctor, particularly pediatrician. Since childhood, the notion of becoming a doctor had been greatly influenced by my parents. The initial years in college provided a great opportunity for me to be absolutely certain about my career decision. Although the admission requirements at a medical school are quite rigorous, I was determined to be a pediatrician because I have a passion to work with children. I wanted to become a pediatrician because it’s more intriguing to have a child patient; I wouldn’t experience the same level of excitement if I were to interact with adult patients. Furthermore, it would be quite exciting to observe the patients grow over time. Aside from working with kids, the salary for a pediatrician is quite satisfying. I would like to be financially stable so I can successfully pay off my education loans and other expenses. Finally, my interest in becoming a child doctor was also influenced by the Biology courses that I took in college. The study of life is just fascination. I had been in college for four years and I needed two more years to achieve a Bachelorette degree in Biology. The course requirements for the major are quite difficult and time-consuming. I had become quite tiresome from being in college for a long period of time. I was psychologically stressed to the point where attending medical school seemed impossible. Regardless of my loss of interest in medical school, my passion of studying Biology was still alive. My new objective was to graduate college with a Bachelors degree in Biology and find employment at a clinical or corporate laboratory. Although I would start my career at an entry level position, I hope to climb up the ladder as I begin to gain more experiences in my
