Since I was young, I have always enjoyed learning because I felt like it offered me several opportunities in life. My parents and my family play a strong role in my love for science as they have encouraged me to choose what will make me happy. As a child, I always had different ideas about my future career, but after looking over most of my ideas, I realized most of them were related to the science field. I would like to believe that my choice of a career will be based off of my passion for something, but also the hope of helping people while doing it. Since the age of four, I moved to live in Egypt for quite some time. I had great and horrifying experiences there as well. Egypt has been known to be in a feud with the government, for about six years. I have seen bloodshed with my own eyes, but I could not do anything to help it. I had great experiences as well in Egypt, so when my father decided to move my mother and I to the United States, I had a rough time dealing with the change. But even if one day, I have the option to return, I would like to remain in a place where I have higher opportunities of achieving what I have worked for since I was young. I believe that the courses provided by the Medical Science Academy program will help me find a suitable aspiration for me to work hard for because even if my choice changes, I will find something that suits my personality and it will be something I am comfortable doing for a long time. One great thing I have learned from my parents is that no matter what happens around me, I must continue to fight for my passion in order to be happy.
