There is an opportunity for me to do landscape or portrait photography for commission. Photographers are expensive and sometimes don't give you the best bang for your buck. They also do not care about the quality of their pictures and are focused on getting the money. They do not talk to the customer and they need to be more involved to get the best picture for their customer. With a cheap and quality photographer their profits will soar.
There is an unmet need for photographers to capture special events and the mood they had on their people. Many photographers do not know how to accurately take photos to get the best results. i believe i can have a positive influence on the market. I have talked to many photographers because of my dad's career in the wedding business. They have taught me valuable tricks that i can use to get the best photos. I also have the knowledge on the right equipment to get the shots that no one else gets. With some start up capital i can have a state of the art business with the best technology. To pursue this business there will need to be some start up funds because of the amount of money camera cost. I will also need equipment such as tripods and lenses. When my business grows I can invest my profits into better technology like 360 degree photos and drones. To spread the word i will need a website and business cards. Finally when the business is flourishing I will rent a space to act as an office for me.
There are many small companies that do photography at a base level. Even fewer that offer quality services to their customers. Word of mouth in the business are how the business will grow so i must provide quality service to everyone to spread my business. The biggest photographers in raleigh are F8 photo service and Azul photography so they will be my major competitors. If i provide better service than them then I can attract their customer
