Getting good experience in the career you have chosen to do for many years can be very beneficial. One reason is it will show you if this is the right career choice for you and secondly you get hands on experience and it offers you a front seat to see directly into what the career requires of you. There are many ways to get experience in your chosen field but one great way is volunteering and getting that hand on experiences and front row seat experience. I believe that the requirement is on the level of a paid full-time position. However, I love what the organization stand for and I think that this type of volunteer position would help me in my future career and may even open up the door to make connections to eventual gain full-time employment doing something my heart desires. As far as what I have to offer, I believe I have the skills and experience needed to take on the responsibilities of the program manager position. I would need minimal training in the administration department. My educational goal is to have a Master’s degree in Psychology and my career goal is to be a psychologist helping women and teen girls. By volunteering I can gain a positive way to get training in my chosen career field.
