Christian School Education has always been dear to my heart and a special root I have always wanted to reintegrate into my life. I regret not going to a Christian college and I regret not pursuing my dream of a Christian education career sooner, but here I am now trying to make something that almost seems unattainable a reality.
As an educator, I believe that we should foster children as a whole including developing their relationship with God. I would love to create a learning environment that is centered on Christ and nurtures spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth among students. In order for this to be effective, many key principles would have to be implemented that may include but are not limited to prioritizing the teaching of Christ in all education, integrating faith into learning, and life-long pursuits including college, marriage, finances, etc. I also believe in academic excellence which includes rigorous programs that challenge students to think

This includes being patient, kind, loving, and compassionate with students, as well as showing respect and kindness to colleagues and parents. Also incorporating prayer and devotion into my daily routine, such as starting and ending the day with a prayer, having devotional time which includes reading a book or completing a workbook, and incorporating scripture into lesson plans. I know that I have much growth in learning how to teach from a biblical perspective but I can start by reflecting on my own life and how I live in forgiveness, kindness, and honesty.
