In my opinion, I think clear and effective communication is very essential in the workplace, because without communication there will be misunderstandings, which in turn will lead to misinterpretations, assumptions which can cause embarrassment to not only the sender but the receiver.

In our everyday lives, may it be in the workplace, with our family, friends, etc., it is common knowledge that the two main ways of communication are verbally and writing. Furthermore, we must be cognizant that the effectiveness in the way we convey our communication can be affected by various factors, such as a person’s body language.

Having this knowledge can also play a role in deciding how one might choose to communicate with their colleagues in the working environment.
