As an individual with a passion of stepping into the lives of others during testing times towards making life easier, I am determined to develop a fulfilling career as a nurse practitioner. Having graduated in BSN from Barry University in 2014, currently I am serving the emergency department at SMH as a registered nurse. My fervor of transforming into an impeccable nursing professional through sharpening my knowledge and skills has inspired me to continue my education. At present, I am enrolled for the Master of Science in Nursing program at the Nursing School of Barry University and getting specialized in Nurse Practitioner Acute Care. I look forward to graduating in 2020.
I am interested in your New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston and recently obtained my MA RN license in August 2015. I choose to be an RN because I love learning about the anatomy and physiology of the human body and working with people. When I was a little girl, I would watch the Discovery Health channel instead of watching cartoons. In high school, I became interested in social justice work when I did a month long volunteer service trip to India.
I am very interested in obtaining a Registered Nurse position as new graduate nurse with Baptist Health. I have developed the skills and education to work as a nurse, which includes an Associate’s degree in nursing. My studies included healthcare, science, and clinical work that allowed me to obtain hands-on experience working in the healthcare field. I will soon take the NCLEX exam to earn my license to begin my practice as a Registered Nurse.

The strong Lutheran foundation at Valparaiso University that prepares students to lead and serve in the community. In addition to the church, and society offers me the opportunity to pursue a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree. The university's foundation and family-centered focus make it a great place for work-study. Although no one ever suggested that my journey to become a Registered Nurse would turn out to be a faith-based journey, I transitioned from Medical Assistant to Registered Nurse in 2017. I enrolled in an LPN program with only 12 weeks until graduation, but the school closed with no further information.
My goal while attending RCC is to start taking all of the necessary classes and programs to become a very successful registered nurse that I know I can be. I always wanted to take part in a career that not only is active, but has a big, positive impact on the community. That career I was looking for ended up being healthcare. I found this out while working at Providence Medford Medical Center as a Patient Care Technician and it makes me want to strive to do more. I would be a good addition to the nursing workforce because I am resourceful, compassionate, adaptable and detail oriented.
I aspire to be a registered nurse. My passion to pursue this profession has led me to continuously pursue opportunities that prepare me for the rigorous path of earning a nursing degree. I enrolled in Bayside High School’s Health Sciences Academy; its challenging curriculum has led me to gain insight on anatomy, physiology, and forensic medicine. In addition to this, I volunteered in medical settings, such as Sentara Leigh Hospital and Beth Sholom Village’s Nursing and Long Term Care Facilities. I also became familiar with their role in patient care and learned how they interact with other medical personnel.
Personal Statement for Nursing School “When a person decides to become a Nurse. They make the most important decision of their lives. They choose to dedicate themselves to the care of others” Growing up in Nigeria; I had my first introduction to the field of medicine at the age of 6. At the time, my grand father was a holistic doctor at my local community. Whenever my grandfather went to work, he would take me with him and I remembered being very fascinated by how people would come in to get treatments for different kinds of diseases.
I am a recent University of Michigan (UofM) graduate with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering (BME), and I intend to pursue my Master’s in Industrial and Operations Engineering, with a concentration in healthcare engineering and patient safety, beginning Fall 2016. I am passionate about dedicating my career toward the betterment of healthcare and find that UnitedHealth Group and, in particular, Optum, with its commitment to improving multiple aspects of the health system through technology and analytics, aligns well with this vision. In this era of growing cost pressures, restructuring of healthcare delivery and payment, and increased consumer demand, technology will continue to constitute the substance of healthcare; thus, there is no doubt
I am writing to express my interest in the Healthcare Systems Engineering track in the Industrial Engineering MS. This track ties in neatly with my career goal of reducing the cost of health care in the United States and is my primary motive for applying. Furthermore, this track will bolster me as competitive candidate for Florida Hospital’s Performance Improvement department. My four years of professional experience has been a mixture between working as an engineer and a tactical consultant for companies in Life Sciences, Health Care, and other Service Industries.
We never know where life will take us, but it's always good to have a plan. It's good to think about the future you desire and have a clear idea of what you want. Knowing what course you want your life to take will help you face whatever obstacles may come your way. We probably all want to become a very important person, have a really good career and have a nice well paid job.
My interest for Biology grew in high school when our teacher, Mrs. Sumi took us out in the fields to observe the surrounding nature. She told us to roam through the fields and note down all the characteristics of all the living organisms we saw. Initially many of us complained about walking through the field in the day with the sun overhead. But we were soon so engrossed with the task that none of us realized how long we were observing the nature and noting down the organisms. After that day it was like I was hooked to the subject.
My life goal is to help as much as i can and be the best version of myself. Growing up I never felt cared about and had any attention given to me. From that point on I knew I never wanted anyone to feel like me at any point of their life. My passion for wanting to become a nurse became stronger. Knowing that you can make a positive change to someone's life by being who you are makes me feel great.
I chose to enter the nursing field because it is the best career for me. It took me a long time to decide on what I really wanted to do with my life. Around the time I was thinking about it, my father was diagnosed with cancer. That lead to countless days in the hospital. One of the times, a nurse approached me and asked what I was planning on going to college for.
