Information Technology Center Essay In fourth grade in Pennsylvania, my teacher assigned us to do research on famous Pennsylvanians. I selected James Buchanan, and we had to assemble a website with Weebly. After the project, I became as interested in website development as a moth to a light. Eventually, I moved to Virginia and learned regarding the I.T. Center at Deep Run High School. I already had experience with computers, and I want to go into depth concerning how they work. I would like to attend the Information Technology Center because I have experience with computers, am inspired by my father, and have dreams for the future. One of the reasons that I want to go to the I.T. Center is because I had experience with computers. As stated in the introduction, my interest in computer programming began during fourth grade. Eventually, I designed websites for entertainment, news reporting, and information. In eighth grade, I mastered HTML, a coding language used to make websites. Also, I joined the Computer Programming Club and expanded my knowledge of code to Java Script and J Query. …show more content…

My father is a software engineer at Johnson Controls, and he uses C coding to create mechanisms that would control the machines, and he also does debugging for his job. My aunt and uncle are also software engineers at QUALCOMM in San Diego, California, and the company produces chips for smart phones. These family members inspired me to dream of becoming a software engineer, and that is why I want to enroll in the I.T. Center.
