Award winning novelist Chuck Palahniuk once said: “We all die. The goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.” This is precisely what I plan to do. As a single mother of two this certainly is no easy task. Believe me I know. I attended Franklin University and obtained my bachelor’s degree while working a full-time job and dealing with life’s obstacles. When I walked across that stage and was handed my degree, it was the greatest feeling of accomplishment I’ve ever felt. I have been working at the Franklin County Municipal Court Clerk’s Office as a Deputy Clerk for thirteen years. During my time in the Clerk’s Office I’ve branded myself, making myself known as the person with a good work ethic, the person who is knowledgeable and most importantly the individual with a good attitude. In fact, I’ve received several awards for outstanding customer service and exhibiting a positive attitude at work and in life. I always dreamed of being the owner of a big company, I never liked working for other people much. I have my own ideas and dreams, big dreams. I guess I’m a bit bossy, strong willed, and stubborn.
