In my 6 years at Club, I have taken up a huge interest in advocating and listening to others point of views. I am extremely passionate about making other members Club experience as positive and life changing as possible. I think becoming a leader at Club has been a huge eye opener and has truly made me realize you have no idea what others are going through. Everyone walks in through the Club doors to the same environment, but the truth is, everyone leaves to a different home life and takes on different responsibilities. I feel like its my role to help them grasp whatever they feel they cannot. I want to have a positive impact on not only their day, but their life.
Another thing I am very passionate about is family. Not only my Club family, but my blood family. I have a 7 year old sister who is also a Club member and I strive every day to make sure she is on the right path. I take a lot of responsibility in teaching her kindness and compassion but also making sure she is feeling it as well. I believe it is easier to demonstrate when you have been shown those characteristics. I would say I wholeheartedly stepped into my leadership and advocacy role when my sister became a member. She plays a huge role in my life and teaches me more than she knows. She has taught me how to communicate and teach her younger generation without even knowing it. I have taken a huge responsibility with her at home after the loss of my dad. I felt it was important for me to step into a parental role for her. My mom is an extremely hard worker, and is looking to further her education to support our family. This has left me putting my sister to bed and taking care of her sometimes. I feel as though it is
