What I Expect to Receive from College Starting off, I would like to say college is something that should be taken seriously and not to be put off to the side for the last minute in terms of your work. I believe if you truly want to get one-hundred percent out of college than you truly need to give it your all to receive it back. In other words, if you leave college work for the last minute to be done and only put minimal effort, then you should expect to only get a minimal understanding of the work you do and minimal knowledge of the material. Moving on, the point I am trying perceive is, what I’m expecting to get out of college is if I do my work to my utmost ability, then I shall have the best understanding and knowledge of the material. While that is one main point in my expectations I also have many more things I expect to get from college as a student. In conclusion, some of the main points I will talk about in this essay that I expect from college are, getting a career, good grades, and become a knowledgeable person in my field of study. …show more content…

What I mean by this is I hope to get a nice job that pays good and will last me my lifetime. I hope to get a job that will be worth the work that I put in the necessary degree I decide to chase after. What I’m basically expecting is that I get the “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow”, in other words, I hope to receive a nice job at the end of all my hard work that I put in school. Wrapping it up, this is my expectations linked to career and I hope hard work does end up paying off at the end of my college
