When I became a Freshman in highschool, I had my whole life planned out. I knew that I wanted to grow up to be a famous singer. I was going to go to Belmont University and graduate with my Bachelor’s degree. I wanted to be in the spotlight. I wanted people to know my name and to sing my songs. I would have done anything to fulfil that dream. But as I grew older, my mindset began to change. I saw things through a different perspective. Things I would never have expected to fascinate me, did. For example, I never really thought about traveling the world, seeing new things, learning different cultures, helping many different people. So I started looking into different careers that offered my personal interests. At first I was intrigued by giving X-rays and studying the bone structure. Then my focus shifted toward being an OB/GYN. Yeah, I know, two totally different things, but the thought of delivering precious little babies into the world just overwhelmed me with joy. It was founded in 1966, and has five campuses throughout middle Tennessee. (¨Columbia¨ State Community College.) I chose to research this school for a number of reasons. First, it is located close to my home. Its campus is located in Columbia TN, with a total enrollment of 5,225 students. (¨U.S¨ News) Therefore, it's not very big. This is an advantage because when there isnt so many students, you can have more one-on-one time with the teachers to help you understand the work better. I also chose CSCC because you get to schedule your classes the way that best fits your personal schedule, which is awesome because I am not a morning person. Columbia State has very simple admissions requirements. Not to brag, but I meet all of them! For example, an ACT score of 19 and a GPA of a 2.5. The Acceptance rate is a whooping 99% (¨College¨
