Why I Chose To Study At Montgomery College

Choosing the best college is the first step to start higher education, and most students do research to find the best college. Choosing the right college is not always an easy task, and several factors will likely enter student’s college choice. Besides academic programs, students must consider about seeing themselves enjoying their college life and succeeding in their field of study. Affordability and academic reputation are the two main reasons why I chose to study at Montgomery College (MC).

Affordability is the first main reason why I opted to study at MC. While I was doing my research to find the best college, I was comparing different community colleges tuition fee. Most state universities and private colleges tuition fee are expensive,

Academic and college reputation are the primary factors which affect students decision, and I was one of those students who wants to attend college based on its academic reputation. MC has a very supportive staff members and well-experienced professors, which attract students to enroll. Before I registered at MC, I checked the college and teachers rate, and MC and the teachers have an excellent rate, which makes me decide to register. Also, MC give a quality education in my field of study, and the quality of teaching makes it easier to transfer to four-year universities. One example of quality education of MC is students, who studied at MC, can transfer all credit courses to four-year universities without any problem. Also, the staff members of MC are very welcoming and supportive. All the staff members I visited in each department while I process for my registration are very helpful and professional. Also, MC has a welcoming center, which helps new students to register for a class, to apply for financial aid, and to choose the right campus for them.
