They seek to gain knowledge, to be exposed to ideas and philosophies that will enhance their lives. One of the main reasons to obtain a college education is the hope of using it to find a job that will enable them to live a comfortable life with a financially secured future. Some students go with the hope of meeting that one special person who will always care for them. Some students go to college so that they can move up in life.
Overall, I wish to attend college to better all aspects of my life. I desire to maximize my potential and work ethic to become better. Being a first generation student will not be easy, for I have no one to tell me about experiences. I am very proud and honored to tell people that I am in college.
The reasons why I am attending college Personally, I decided to go to the college because my parents always taught me that a higher-education could offer me a better life. I attended an extraordinary high school in Italy but I wanted to continue my education here in Miami. I am attending college because I will get an excellent job and most like it make more money when I graduate, I will build more knowledge and skills and finally I will have the college experience and make more friends.

As a recent high school graduate, I have had the privilege to attend college. My substantial motive for attending college was the ability to obtain more knowledge. Throughout my existence, I have had the yearning to learn new things and improve my knowledge, not only about the issues in our world but also about the keys to success in life.
Why did you decide to go to college? The reason for my decision to enter college is because it is a way of expanding my knowledge; furthermore, to gain an opportunity for a bright future. College can be gateway to unlock new opportunities, discovering your passions, and exploring your career options; for example, if I am undecided and want to expand my options or I may know my career choice but I don’t know how to start my career, college can solve my solution.
Wouldn’t it be nice to attend the college of your dreams and graduate with little to no debt? In the United States college tuition fees have skyrocketed within the past 50 years which has resulted in many intelligent young people becoming unmotivated because the stress of finances has become overbearing. Therefore, college tuition costs should be lowered significantly in order to make sure college is affordable for all motivated people. I want to break down the barrier keeping us all from becoming successful! I have worked diligently throughout high school by taking Honors and AP courses because I want to go to college.

College has always been a necessary and vital step in my life that I have to take. Growing up with religious Coptic Orthodox parents have left some lasting effects on how I see the world now. I have always been taught that God comes first, family second, and everything else third. Ever since I was a little girl, my parents always dreamed of me going to a Catholic school. I, along with my parents, have always enjoyed the idea of praying and talking about God without hesitation. The University of St. Thomas would be a great place for me to grow spiritually in my faith and to achieve more than my family and friends imagined I could do.
When I was younger, I never planned to go to college in the state of Wisconsin. I absolutely did not want to apply to any colleges around here, because I wanted to get as far away from here as absolutely possible. That changed the summer of my junior year. I went to the Morgridge Institute Summer Science Camp. I did not go in expecting much.
The first reason I want to go to college is that it is a place to learn. That may sound incredibly obvious, but I do not think that others have that same opinion.
