Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” With an education, individuals can reach their dreams and leave their imprint on the world; they can enlighten others about important issues and advise them that with hard work and determination, they too can achieve their dreams. As a recent high school graduate, I have had the privilege to attend college. My substantial motive for attending college was the ability to obtain more knowledge. When I commenced college, I knew that my future would be determined by how much effort and determination I put into my studies. The only thing that would prevent me from reaching my dreams would be myself. Since my first semester at Miami Dade College, my entire focus has been on my studies. I accomplish all my tasks ahead of time and make sure that they are done to the best of my abilities.
