An afterschool homework club is an amazing idea. Staying after all of their classes will benefit students and teacher in so many unique ways. Students will get a better understanding of what the class is currently learning. The students that miss school because they were ill or had a family emergency, get to catch up on all the school work they missed. Finally, it will assure teachers that most students will get everything turned in on time. Students’ grades will improve and that helps teachers with their jobs. I believe if this club were to happen, an abundance of students will be fighting for a spot in this very helpful club.
First, this club will help students understand a bit more. Some subjects certain students have trouble with. Take Algebra for example, most teachers ask the class if they understand how to work out a problem, say around ninety percent of the class said yes, the other ten percent simply do not understand. Sometimes students just cannot come to school. Teachers usually say, ¨You should have come to school,¨ but that is not the case. Students get sick and they do not come to school because they do not want to cause others to become sick as well. Not only being ill a reason for students to miss school, but family is. At times elder family members become very sick and eventually they pass. Students do not want to skip a funeral so they can come to school. When they finally come back, teacher bombard them with all kinds of work. The club will help them a lot with missed school work. Students can spend time with a teacher and work on all the school work they need to complete and turn in. This club can be beneficial in a massive amount of
