Pro-choice and Their Fight to Defend Abortion
Although it may seem like there is much opposition against abortion and all the programs that help to keep it functioning, not all hope is lost as there are plenty of American citizens who support the rights of women and their right to an abortion. The pro-life people make it seem like there is a much higher population of people who support abolishing abortion due to the fact that they are more vocal about their opinion but, as it turns out, there are slightly more people who are in favor of abortion even though they don’t take to the stands to voice their opinion as often. This just goes to show that abortion still has plenty of support on its side, even when its opposition tries to ruin the legitimacy and make its intentions seem malevolent. We as people in the United States have gained rights throughout the decades and have progressed in terms of what is right and wrong. This applies to abortion in the same way that even though more opposition was created after abortion was legalized, support was also produced from people who agreed that abortion should be a legal practice.
