Everyday someone turns 18 and doesn't have enough money to buy a house and support themself. These young adults don't have enough time to prepare for the world and end up in poverty. Others are heading off to college not prepared for the thousands of dollars in debt they will be facing in student loans. However we can change this by loosening child labor laws and allowing these individuals to have more time to prepare or save for their incoming future. The government needs to change child labor laws because of finances, greater responsibility ,and it is helpful to our economy.With our current labor laws you can't work till you're 15 and even with that amount of time you are subject to many restrictions. That's Why we need to loosen child labor laws.

Teens should get an earlier job because it helps them with finances. If we let people work like age 12 we could lower the hours and wage and they would go up every year. This is very nice because it allows teens to work in a safe environment. “The applicable regulations will also differ depending on whether or not the work is agricultural. Some jobs, like babysitting, are not even covered by child labor laws”(LCC).
