Americans should eat less or healthier due to the recent studies that shows America is more prone to childhood diabetes, childhood obesity, and is the only country with a high percentage rate. Ever wonder what are the causes to the great increase of childhood obesity in the past 30 years? Childhood obesity is a very serious problem and becoming very dangerous. As the adults should provide better examples for your kids such as taking them on walks and having them on a time schedule for electronic devices. Children learn by example which means what they see their parents do they will try. Eat correctly your children will eat correctly.

Newkirk 2 foods more. Americans today consumed 31% more package food than fresh food. We take in more sodium a day then we are supposed to all because we are too busy. Children eating McDonalds two times a day on top of drinking sodas.
Another is the increase of technology in a child’s life.
Children will eat anything, go sit in front of a T.V or some gaming device and the parents will allow it. That’s why America have the highest percentage than any country for childhood obesity. Reasons for that’s is everywhere else children are getting two or maybe three recesses a day whereas our children are only maybe getting one a day. Then when they get home they eat all kinds of junk food and go play “call of duty”. Compared to other countries our Children does not get as much exercise as other countries. My argument is not that video games and technology make kids gain weight my argument is that when kids place video games in the place of exercise and burning calories it can be a huge cause of childhood obesity.
