Adoption is a huge thing right now. There is a lot of children out there that are in need of a loving home, but there is not enough people out there that want to adopt. The two major groups of people that are willing to adopt are either couples that are unable to conceive or gay couples. And both should be able to do it not just those unable to conceive.

The problem is that gay parents are unable to adopt due to the catholic church. The church focuses more on those ideal mom and dad parents and not on gays or on those families that already have children and want to adopt. The Church should focus more on just a family for the children and not a T.V. model one. (Todd)

Some people might argue that children of gay parents are going to turn homosexuals too. Research tells otherwise, but yet that is not the most commonly used argument. “The Argument that is most commonly used to denounce gay parenting is not the threat of promiscuity or pedophobia. It is imply old fallback: the importance of two opposite-sex parents.” What people aren’t looking at is that this people are becoming parents by choice not by chance. They put a lot of thought into this, which makes them cherish their kids even more than an average parent, right now at least. The children are fine though, they actually adapt better than other kids. They are also socially fine. they have normal grades, are just as popular,and talented like any other kid.
