It is impossible to ever stop all gun violence. Since 1966 there have been 292 guns used in mass shootings, and 48 of those were obtained illegally; 76 of the guns used, we never found out how they were obtained. You can’t get rid of something, when you don’t know how it’s happening or if it’s happening illegally, which means we need new innovations will work to make these shooting as limited as possible. We have seen gun control laws fail multiple times, as to 48 guns were obtained illegally in shootings. We need to get deeper than laws, because people break laws. This way the more people who have guns, the more protection the innocent school-goer or concert-goer will have. We would like to have citizens have a background/mental check done. It’s also important to be educated on gun safety and shooting prevention, this will make them more qualified to carry guns. For example, it would be important to get guns to school security guards and teachers, to prevent school shootings from being worse. These citizens will be everywhere, at a location where shootings sometimes happen, chances are someone will be there with a gun. This means shootings will be prevented if citizen performs their duty. Also, prospective shooters will become scared if they know someone there will have a gun will prevent them from shooting more people, so it will cause some decline in the mass shootings occurrences. Let’s take Switzerland for example, Switzerland has a very wide acceptance for owning guns, and they frown upon gun control laws. They are strong perpetrators of gun ownership, this leads to them being third in the world, behind only the U.S., and Yemen, in guns per
