Mars Exploration
Many different feelings are directed towards the Mars exploration and colonization due to take place in 2020. The biggest questions is, is it all worth it? Will it even work? How long will it last? Many questions are asked but no-one has the answers until it actually happens.
The Mars exploration and colonization is going to be very expensive. The estimated cost of the one way trip is around six billion dollars, including the lives of all the astronauts. If it takes 5 years to get to Mars, and they keep sending people there then it will be around 6 billions every trip there. With America’s economy, throwing away 6 billion dollars on trips to Mars is something that is a waste of money, because we are not even sure if it will work. Say it does work, will America keep spending money they do not have to send people to Mars? America is already in debt and should not have to keep wasting money.
Another big question is, is it worth the death toll’s? The first astronaut will die at about 68 days due to suffocation. The rest of the astronauts will die shortly after by either starvation, dehydration, or incineration. After around 80 days all the astronauts will be dead. The people who are taking on this challenge keep

The meaning to that is how long will this continue. NASA will be sending six groups of four people for the first trip set to take place in 2020. The goal is to build a colonization so living will be easy. All the astronauts will be dead before 80 days, so what happens if they all die before the colonization is fully set up and in working condition? It takes roughly 5 years to get to Mars, so if all the astronauts die before the colonization is fully built, it will take around 5 years to get more astronauts back up there to finish it. When they are up there, and it starts working who knows, they might even die around 68 to 80 days later, and if each trip is six billion dollars that is going to be a waste of
